Introduction

We All Have A Story To Tell

      We all have a story to tell, who we are, where we come from and where we are going as our lives unfold before us, on our human journey. Our stories are unique and yet each of our individual stories contributes to our global story of humanity as we leave our footprints in the never-ending story of the evolution of Planet Earth. In some ways we are artists painting pictures as our lives unfold before us and, if we can for a moment stand back and observe the overall picture, like an artist does as he or she paints the canvas, we may get to see the perfection of every choice we made, which results in a masterpiece of our own creation.

      We may not see the perfection when our lives are filled with despair and suffering as that only comes when we reach a level of understanding that acknowledges the soul's journey through lifetime after lifetime. We are born into a family that can help us heal the past and recreate a new future except we are mostly unaware we carry the unconscious burdens of our ancestors that can make the path difficult at times. But by becoming aware we are merely following in their footsteps, we can make a different choice and go another way.

      The world in which we live is very different to that of our ancestors and yet, despite advances in all aspects of our culture, society, scientific and technological achievements over the centuries, humanity continues to face wars, conflicts and natural disasters, which cause people to leave their homelands and move from one country to another for survival in search of a better life. While we may no longer look for new pastures to graze our cattle and fields to grow crops like our ancestors, migration is as much a current global issue now as it has been throughout the history of our planetary evolution.

      Pioneering Spirit tells our family story of migration and how our ancestors chose to leave the land of their birth in England, Scotland and Ireland British Isles and travel thousands of miles across the globe to establish a new life in New Zealand and Argentina. Whilst our story is unique it does share a common theme of those who continue to travel the world to earn a living in order to have a better life than their country of origin can offer. This pattern passes down the generations and it may be that your family shares a similar story. Pioneering Spirit is not only a family story but also takes a deeper look into the emotional trauma that affects the generations and how it is possible to heal the wounds of the past and free us up for a happier, healthier life. It is a story of transformation and change and maybe can inspire you to reflect on your ancestral lineage and discover treasures that may lie hidden deep within your own unique family story. You never know what you might find, but first you have to be willing and curious to open the door.
